Hi, we are chaveli + brandon

On September 2nd of 2019, we both met in a New York City coffee shop, called “The Bean”, on a rainy morning in the city.

For hours, we shared our goals and dreams with each other.

While clutching our warm cups of coffee across from each other, we quickly realized that we shared a passion for love, life, stories and capturing it all through cinematic photography and filmmaking.

Throughout the following months, our relationship bloomed along with the seasons of the energetic city around us. And within the still and slower moments of conversations over wine or coffee, we always found ourselves dreaming of a life together and beginning a business doing what we loved most - traveling the world and capturing stories of life and love. 


Two years later, CB Studios was born. A business devoted to the power of visual storytelling through the tools of photo and video. 


Since then, we’ve had the honor of serving witness to countless love stories across the country, along with capturing the stories of brands. 

CB Studios is divided into three branches: 


CB Studios Weddings - capturing love from elopements to weddings 


CB Studios Branding - capturing the stories of a variety of brands, from local small businesses to luxury hotels 


CB Studios | The Studio - a studio space (still in development) to create work from portrait sessions to product photo sessions; as well as being a space for a community of creatives to gather and grow. 


As passionate storytellers, we’ve devoted over 10 years of countless hours of education (all the way to the Masters level) and experience to grow the amount of tools we use to elevate our storytelling, including: 

  • Digital Photography 
  • Cinematic Videography + Filmmaking 
  • Producing 
  • Film Photography 
  • Super 8mm Film Videography 
  • Writing 
  • And more


And, finally, making up our team is our little family.
